Rivets

Rivets are mechanical fasteners capable of joining two materials, even with limited access to the installation and fixing on one side. A rivet comprises a body or head, containing a rod, which deformed during the riveting process the end of the rivet. The rivet head can be of various types: pan head, countersunk head or broad head, for different needs.

How a rivet is placed?

1. the stem is inserted into the nozzle of the riveting tool. Then the rivet head through holes previously made in the bonded is introduced.
2. By the action of the riveting tool, the jaws exert on the rod a pulling force.
3. When we reached the maximum degree of traction rod, breakage occurs in the throat, leaving the stem head blocked.
4. Once separated stem and head, we have a clean, fast and durable fixation.
