Legs for mattress

In this section you will find a selection of legs for universal somier and legs for upholstered bases. They are available in sets of four pieces so you can make the complete assembly.

The difference between the legs for the frame and legs for bed bases, is that the first use a pair of plates by way of clamps which are adjusted with a screw to one of the metal studs of the bedspring, while the legs to base used threaded pins to be attached to the wooden base of the bed.

What should we keep in mind when buying legs for mattress?

Basically three things:

• The height at which we place our beds. The heights of the legs for more common beds ranging from 25 to 30 centimeters. It is a matter of taste that does not limit the functionality of the legs.
• The thickness of the crossbars of the bedspring to join the legs. We must consider this because we could buy some very wide legs and therefore with very loose against the crossbars clamps, thus resulting in a weak restraint bed with what we "dance". We find bedposts 30x30, 35x35 or 30x40 mm, among others.
• Mobility bed. If you need to move with some frequency bed from one place to another, we have packs of legs 2 wheels which carry them, which will facilitate the movement of the bed.

Finally, if the system upon which rests your mattresses are modern folding couches have both the necessary hinges and pistons for the system to lift the base on which the mattress rests to work.
